Ann Rosandich is a professional oboe performer, teacher and reedmaker with over 45 years experience.
She was appointed solo English horn of the New Mexico Symphony at age 19. Additionally, she is a former member of the Albuquerque Chamber Orchestra.
Ann has made oboe reeds professionally for a leading American reedmaking company. She holds a BM and MM from Boston University.
Ann has performed with Alea III, Emmanuel Music, Boston Classical Orchestra, Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra, New Hampshire Symphony and on WGBH-FM Radio, Morning Pro Musica, Off the Record. She has made guest chamber music appearances with Boston Symphony members on the Boston University Faculty Series including flutist Fenwick Smith, saxophonist Kenneth Radnofsky, and harpischordist Mark Kroll.
Ann is the author, illustrator, and designer of the critically acclaimed books on oboe reedmaking, The Illustrated Encyclopedia Of Oboe Reedmaking: A Guide To The American School Of Oboe Reedmaking, Volumes 1 and 2.
